The Power of Language: Wisdom of the Inga Community

In 2013, 17-year-old Jean and his friends from Etnoeducativa Bilingue Inga, Mocoa, realised that the younger generation was losing touch with their indigenous language and culture. They invited elders of Inga community to share their wisdom, started a curriculum that included the language of forefathers, and celebrated the main festivals and food of the culture.
