To share the importance of subjects like Arts and Music which do not hold the same status as mainstream subjects in school, and to share their Ladhaki culture and take pride in traditional folk music, students at Mahabhodi Residential School, Leh, formed a band with instruments made of waste material in 2015. They taught younger kids music and organised a music festival for 550+ people.
